The Fireplace Hut came through for us. When we were caught in a sudden need to do renovations to our family room, The Fireplace Hut responded to our need to change out an old inefficient wood-burning fireplace for a new beautiful gas fireplace in a timely manner. We had looked at replacing the old with the new last spring and had visited the showroom and with Dennis we decided on a model and he emailed us a quote. We put off ordering while other design aspects were being looked at as we had a couple years to move forward with this project to convert the basement space to a working space when the time factor was suddenly moved up to two weeks. In a week-end, I had the old fireplace out. I met the guys Wednesday, and we discussed the installation to take place in the next week. I let them in Tuesday morning at 8:30am, Eugene took the time to answer a few more questions while his helper brought in drop clothes and tools to do the job. When I came home at 4:30 there was a new fireplace working, everything was cleaned up, all the garbage was hauled away and the new remote and all the paperwork was left out for us to read. Overall a most professional job, we are very happy with the fireplace, the installation and the new warmth in our basement. Thank you to The Fireplace Hut!

We are very pleased with the natural gas fireplace. The fireplace itself is very good and provides excellent heat with simple to use operation. The quote was exactly what the final bill was. The installers were friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The installation was professionally done, looks great, and the installers used extra care with coverings to ensure all floor areas were protected. My husband and I were in the process of adding an addition to our home and felt a fireplace would add just the right touch. We knew just what we were looking for and did our research on the internet. We visited a couple of showrooms in and around the area but didn't find exactly what we were looking for. While browsing for chimney systems I came across a link for The Fireplace Hut. When my husband and I tried to coordinate a time to go and see the fireplace we had selected we found Rick and Dennis very flexible in offering to come in after hours if necessary. Dennis showed us several of their displays, including the one we wanted to purchase. He went into great detail on all the pros, as well as cons, of each fireplace. When we made our decision the scheduling for installations was very timely. The installation crew was on time, courteous, and professional. The best part was the cost was exactly as quoted. Because of a power outage a few weeks ago we had an opportunity to try out our fireplace much sooner than anticipated and it worked wonderfully. We are delighted with our new Valor natural gas fireplace from the Fireplace Hut. It is efficient, beautiful and has greatly added to the comfort of our home. I purchased a 24000 BTU Valor this winter and had it installed by the folks from the Fireplace Hut. The installation went without a hitch and the installers were neat and tidy. I used it in the family room in basement and it provides zone heating to supplement the furnace, which I might add has certainly cut in less in this winter. What I find is that because of the radiant heating I have no fan noise to contend with and can actually hear the TV programs better and certainly enjoy this aspect of the fireplace. It also provides a very consistent heat, very similar to a wood fireplace. No ashes to take out! No regrets! Enjoy greatly!"

When I asked for advice on a wood burning insert for an old fireplace in my home I contacted The Fireplace Hut and, after checking the dimensions of the fireplace, I was recommended to purchase a Pacific Energy Vista insert. I was given an accurate estimate of costs including installation and placed the order. Within a month an appointment was made to install the insert and the workers arrived as promised. The installer was obviously knowledgeable and meticulously precise in all his preparations and assembly. The installation was completed in 6 hours and I was impressed with the care and attention to detail of each step in the process. The Vista performs excellently well, I have tested it in warming the house adequately without using the natural gas furnace as it would need to do in an emergency and am delighted with the performance. I would recommend the Fireplace Hut unreservedly and the Vista insert as well. I would be willing to allow prospective buyers to visit my home and see for themselves if that would assist.
